El objetivo del presente trabajo es explorar la respuesta transcripcional de células mononucleares de sangre periférica expuestas a material particulado del aire y al SARS-CoV-2, con énfasis en factores que pueden estar implicados en la inmunopatogénesis. Se cuantificará el efecto de este material sobre la expresión de la molécula ACE2 (Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2), usada por el virus como receptor para la infección; a replicación viral en cultivos primarios; y la expresión transcripcional de componentes de la respuesta inflamatoria (como las citoquinas proinflamatorias y antivirales).
