Un análisis sobre la transformación del sistema judicial colombiano que surge con la automatización de los asistentes judiciales tiene por objeto desentrañar los retos que deben enfrentar los sistemas judiciales y los abogados en su práctica profesional. Para ello se tendrá como referente la implementación del programa PretorIA en la Corte Constitucional, el cual nos remite a su antecesor, el programa Prometea utilizado en Argentina. Esta investigación intenta mostrar la necesidad de concebir los sistemas de inteligencia artificial como una herramienta y no como un medio capaz de reemplazar al ser humano, para poder comprender los alcances y los beneficios de la inteligencia artificial, y vislumbrar las habilidades y destrezas que los profesionales del Derecho deben tener para un uso adecuado y ético de la misma. Conocer la diferencia entre la inteligencia humana y la inteligencia artificial, es decir, entre los juicios y las decisiones humanas, frente a los cálculos y predicciones que realizan las máquinas permite establecer los límites de la inteligencia artificial e indagar sobre el perfil del abogado que se necesitas en una sociedad automatizada. Description: An analysis of the transformation of the Colombian judicial system that arises with the automation of judicial assistants aims to unravel the challenges that judicial systems and lawyers must face in their professional practice. For this purpose, the implementation of the PretorIA program in the Constitutional Court, which refers to its predecessor, the Prometea program used in Argentina, will be used as a reference. This research intends to show the need to conceive artificial intelligence systems as a tool and not as a tool for artificial intelligence as a tool and not as a means capable of replacing the human being, to understand the scope and benefits of artificial intelligence, and to glimpse the skills and abilities that legal professionals should have for an adequate and ethical use of it. Knowing the difference between human intelligence and artificial intelligence, that is, between human judgments and decisions, as opposed to the calculations and predictions made by machines, makes it possible to establish the limits of artificial intelligence and to inquire about the profile of the lawyer needed in an automated society.
